Susy Struble, Board Member
Susy is a technology marketing and policy professional with a long-standing focus on improving data sharing and promoting the public good in networked systems.
She is currently director of marketing at a data-focused software start-up. Previous work included marketing, policy, and technology strategy roles at Sun Microsystems as well as launching (and sadly closing) an augmented-reality development business.
Susy is honored to help CHI execute on its mission to help experts and “citizen scholars” to easily produce scientifically valid information about cultural heritage objects. She views CHI as the technical engine behind the drive to preserve the world's cultural heritage and is particularly keen in support of their Digital Lab Notebook project, which aims to provide the digital context for turning cultural heritage data into knowledge.
